About Caroline Mbugua
Caroline Mbugua is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Caroline worked in nursing for over 23 years, gaining experience in mental health nursing, IV infusion nursing, and emergency nursing.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Caroline responded to the call for help in Texas and California. It was during this time that she realized her passion for mental health and her commitment to making a lasting impact in the field. She is dedicated to helping individuals struggling with mental health challenges and is passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness.
Clinical Interests & Approach
Caroline specializes in working with adolescents and adults, including those in need of emergency mental health care. She values strong patient-provider relationships and strives to offer sincere, respectful, and non-judgmental care.
Outside of Work
When she’s not working, Caroline enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending Christian fellowships, and photography.
